Rani's Story

My name is Rani, and I joined CanTalk on October 22nd 2020, as a language interpreter in Tamil and Sinhala.   Since then, I have enjoyed the services at CanTalk.  This is a real happiness in my life to help the community when needed. I have had great experiences hearing many stories in peoples’ lives. When the story is sad, I say a prayer for them after the session is over. Being of service is a great satisfaction in my life, which I look forward to doing more.

As a newcomer to Canada, I gained tremendous knowledge of the operations of various parts of the government, and public operations through CanTalk. Examples of those are Courts, police, medical, legal sections and community services.  I have developed a love and affection to my company, which is CanTalk, for the services it renders to the community and various people, who are unable to communicate in English. The staff at CanTalk who connect the calls are very polite and always helpful.  Staying at home during the pandemic period, I was able to earn a living to some extent.   The Facilitators who get my services to interpret with clients, appreciate my service always for the smooth conversations we have.  Any time of the day, even at midnight, CanTalk is ready to provide an interpreter for the required language interpretation.  I wholeheartedly mention that I am happy I joined CanTalk.  I feel that I made the correct decision to join this great company.  This is a great service to public and many places in the government.  I look forward to render more of my time and service to CanTalk.
